All meals included off and on the route - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and rest stops. You’ll have a choice of regular or vegetarian menus along with gluten free options. Please contact us for any dietary restrictions or needs.
Mess Kits - please pack a mess kit (plate, bowl, cup and eating utensils) or we will provide you with one. We will not have paper products at breakfast and dinner. We provide a comprehensive cleaning line with scrape, pre-wash, wash, rinse and sanitize. Lunch is on the route or packaged as a sack lunch in camp.
Breakfast and dinner will be served in the dining tent in camp each day, with lunch served at a stop along the route. Lunches will be lighter but still hearty. We’ll also have at least two rest stops on the route each day, stocked with a mix of energy foods.
Rest stops will be stocked with various items: Clif bars, gels & blocks; fruit, nuts, crackers, and more. Our energy drink will be from TORQ. We are excited to have a great tasting product that does not overwhelm in sweet and unnatural flavors. Read more about TORQ products here: http://torqusa.com/performance-nutrition/torq-fueling-system/ In addition, TORQ has some great information about cramping, electrolytes and hydration: http://torqusa.com/2016/07/cramping-electrolytes-hydration/
As far as drinks, you’ll have access to water and Torq at every stop. Additional to water and Torq in camp, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, limited soda, and juice in camp.
Beer and Wine? Yes!
We provide great brews. We'll also offer wine each night and in some towns, you'll get to sample some great local spirits. Kick back, enjoy some local brews or vintages, and tell each other how great it was out on the road that day. Please bring your own beer or wine cup, we do not provide disposable cups. If you choose to purchase a donor cup for the week (available at registration), you’ll be able to enjoy free beverages for the week.
